Moby Dick Led Zep Lesson
Allright,
I'm not gonna lie. We're on a bit of a roll here and have been turning out the lessons at a feverish pace. More work for us=more lessons for you. Here is "Moby Dick". This song is known to most zeppelinites for its amazing drum solo by one John Bonham. However, the guitar riff begs to not be overlooked. It's quite catchy. Note that the lowest string,E, is now tuned down to a D. This lowers the note by one full step. Pay attention to that detail as it is essential to playing the song correctly. A lot of bands used the "Drop D" tuning for a heavier effect. Nirvana, Neil Young, Tool, to name but a few. When the string is lower, it produces a longer wavelenghth so it sounds a bit heavier. Zeppelin-Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
Hey Rawk Kids,
Here is our newest lesson Led Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You". This is a bit of a tricky one, as it is fingerpicked. When you're trying this technique, just adhere to the idea that on your picking or (finger) hand alternate fingers with each note. Don't use the same finger to pluck a note 2wice in a row. If you have just used the first finger use the second or third for the next note. Its pretty much the same idea as alternate picking. Get in touch with questions you might have and, Thanks!

We here at Rawk U are incredibly excited to announce something very unique. We are now offering CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER GUITAR LESSON VIDEOS. That is correct! You dictate what the lesson will be about, and we teach it to you. You want to learn the solo from stairway to heaven? No problem. You want to learn how to use modes to learn how to solo? No problem. Our videos are 10 minutes in length, and cost $10 dollars each. After your purchase, you will recieve a cd in the mail within 7 days time. We also have an option of doing the ten minute lesson and having a video response by the instructor, for $15.
